I spent some time today during my lunch hour to look at a few different websites that approach the topic of weight loss in very different ways. The first site is a wiki type blog that deals with weight loss diets and the proper eating habits associated with living a healthy life and losing weight. Another sight that caught my attention was designed for parents of overweight teenagers or those teens wanting to lose weight and stay healthy. Raising a child today more than ever requires parents to keep a close eye on their kids especially when they are in their teenage years. Ahealty teenager will do better in school, have a more active social life and generally be a nicer person to be around.

I spent one of those sleep less nights flipping through the channels while lying in bed and ran across this new exercise / weight loss product I've never seen before.  Its called the Cardio Stepper.  Its an innovative take on a traditional stepper you see at most of the wieght loss and fitness centers.  It however is a bit unique in that it adds a twisting motion to both the upper body and the legs with each step. It has an advance dual-drive gearbox that adds both an in and out motion combined with an upper body twisting action that help to provide additional strength and toning to the body's core.  They claim that this fat burning, body toning piece of exercise equipment can help you lose weight, strengthen the legs, abs, back and shoulders all at the same time.  They go so far to say that you will lose 10 inches off your waist in 10 days, I personally find that hard to believe but who knows. It's definately one of the most unique pieces of exercise weight loss equipment items I've seen hit the market in a while. Time will tell how well it actually will work at helping you to lose weight

It never ceases to amaze me just how many new infomercials about exercise equipment, videos and weight loss gadgets hit the airways every day.  I've spend many sleepless nights watching these exercise infomercials in attempts to bore myself to sleep.  I remember the days when jump ropes, free weights and good old cardio workouts were the best options for exercising and losing weight.  Those days are long gone now , If you aren't buying the next hottest product on the market your a nobody.  Remember the thigh master.  I think everyone had one of those at some point in time.  Now the thigh master might not have done a thing to help you get in shape or lose weight but it definately was a huge marketing success.  If memory serves me right the thigh master was on of the first highly promoted pieces of excercise equipment to utilize large scale tv advertising.   I hope to take this blog and examine and review all the latest exercise equipment gadgets and weight loss products that hit the airways.  I find it facinating the amount of creativity the designers and advertisers of these items use to come up with some of this junk. Perhaps in my reviews I'll find the real answer to 5 min abs.
